In his sculpture series the artist wanted to transform our conditioned human aversion to insects into fascination, by placing them in a seemingly eternal tread over olive tree roots. He gathered the olive roots in Cadaqués in the Spanish Pyrenees and used the works of Salvador Dalí as inspiration.
